It’s still me

Well, hello again
I’m a Millennial who grew up with R&B in my headphones and dancehall at every party. These days, you’re more likely to find me with a crystal in my pocket, eucalyptus on the shelf and a book about holistic healing nearby.
Eight years ago, I started Cherubs, and it has evolved and changed right alongside me. I became a mum, joined approximately 47 WhatsApp groups and then, thankfully, left most of them.
Life changes. Constantly. The circles around us change, the people around us change, our priorities change, and so do we. We shed old versions of ourselves, we evolve, we discover new parts of who we are, and sometimes we have to get comfortable with both the good and the ugly along the way.
It took me a long time to figure out what I actually wanted. Turns out, asking a woman what she wants is never going to have a simple answer.
The truth is, I wanted it all. The creativity, the work, the family, the big ideas, the little ideas, the spiritual stuff, the ridiculous stuff and everything in between.
So here it is. In all its glory.
It’s Still Me is where I sit down with parents to talk about everything else they are. The business they started, the thing they miss, the thing they’ve only just discovered they love, the dream they put on hold, the version of themselves they’ve outgrown, or the part they’re finding again.
Because becoming a parent can change you. Life can change you. And sometimes you can look around and realise you’ve become someone you never expected to be.
And this is a place for all of us. I want you to feel like you can come and sit on my sofa and have a chat. Take that long walk and press play. Put me in your ears on the commute to work. Sit in the car for twenty minutes after the school run and have a moment that’s just yours. Make a coffee, or a matcha if that’s your vibe now, and enjoy the chat.
No judgement. No perfect lives. Just honest conversations, good stories, a bit of laughter and all the messy, brilliant bits in between.
What’s coming up
Six conversations, every other week. New episodes land on Thursday mornings, just in time for the school run.
Got a story? I’d love to hear it.
If you’re a parent in London or Hertfordshire with something to share, big or small, get in touch. No experience needed, just a cup of tea and an open heart.
