27 May Masterclasses for kids
School holidays are far from a walk in the park during a normal year, but after a year of on/off home-schooling, tears and tantrums one minute, smiles and contentedness the next, the prospect of the upcoming May half-term followed by a long hot summer break, might seem like a daunting prospect for weary stressed out parents, juggling both careers and home life. Fear not though, because amongst the chaos that ensues during the school holidays, Curious Campus are here to lend a helping hand with an array of fun, experiential extracurricular activities for all appetites, seven days a week.
In addition to what’s already available, Curious Campus is introducing a series of new and exciting lessons for this summer including:
- A brand new Book Club powered by The Alligator’s Mouth book shop in Richmond
- A Lego Club in partnership with Briggs McGee
- Fire-tech courses for augmented reality enthusiasts
- A Blue Plaque Safari for avid explorers,
- Picassos in the Park for those budding artists
- As well as …Coding, Robotics, Instruments, Languages and Drama
Born out of lockdown, Curious Campus launched the platform for kids aged 6-13 to discover a new talent, a passion, an experience or a hobby outside of the hustle and bustle of daily life. Founded by Suruchi Rishi, a mother with two young children who found herself needing to keep them entertained, focused and educated during lockdown and now as the world opens up in time for summer, very much beyond the confines of four walls. Curious Campus is now the go-to platform for both online and offline extracurricular activities, encouraging the development of individual personalities, passions and skills.

- Blue Plaque Safari – Discover London’s exciting past through its historic occupants – £15 for 1hr 30min
- Junior Book Club – In partnership with The Alligator’s Mouth – Free to join
- Curious Lego Club – In partnership with Bricks McGee – First session May 29th at 11am – £7/monthly membership for a duration of 10 months
- Junior AI Course – Delve into the thought provoking world of Artificial Intelligence – Starts Monday 24 May – £195 for 1 week
- Picasso’s in the Park – Picassos in the Park. Painting, drawing or sculpting. Ideal for all the family to get involved and meet lots of friends over Zoom – £12 for 1 hour
